Jürgen läuft seit 1983. Erfahrungen im Mehrtageslauf konnte er bei folgenden Veranstaltungen sammeln: "Isarlauf 2007" "Swiss Jura 2007 und 2008 und etwa 600 km beim "Deutschlandlauf 2008". Er hat bisher über 50 Marathons hinter sich und war 3 x in Biel dabei. Außerdem: 5 x 24 Std.-Lauf.
